The new series on TOWIE kicked off last night, but it will not be featuring the super hot Georgina Dorsett as the shows bosses had to let her go because she wasn’t interesting enough.
The Sun newspaper claims that the property developer had been given an ultimatum by bosses on the show to spice up her life, but had failed to excite viewers enough for them to want to keep her on for the sixth season
An insider told the paper: “Georgina leaving was a mutual decision between her and producers.
“Her heart wasn’t really in it and producers felt she didn’t bring much to the show. She really wants to spend more time with Tom out of Essex.”
Georgina is dating Manchester United football star Tom Cleverley and is apparently keen to spend more time with him.
The paper’s source continued: “She was a bit of a damp squib and brought nothing to the show. She didn’t really mix with any of the others and it didn’t look like she wanted to be there.”
In other TOWIE news, The Sun also reports that Sam Faiers could be called on to give evidence in Big Brother winner Brian Belo’s court case against the show’s producers Lime Pictures.
Brian claims that the company stole the concept from a show called Totally Essex which he pitched to them, about him and a group of his friends including Mark Wright, Amy Childs, Kirk Norcross and Sam Faiers.
In her new book Living The Essex Way, Sam wrote that she was approached by Brian about appearing in his pilot show.
She said: “Brian is upset as he got no credit for bringing the main characters to the table.”
